The Sebastián Romero Soles Friends Foundation was created in commune 12 to provide meeting spaces for people with cognitive and intellectual disabilities who require special care. In these meetings, the participants’ families came up with ideas on how to structure activities that maximize the skills and talents of each one. From there, the initiative “Fraternal Encounter with Disability” was born, which integrates teachers and volunteers from different areas to encourage talent of each individuals through painting, music, sports and other activities.

This is how the Sebastián Romero Soles Friends Foundation initiative opens spaces for integration and visibility for people who have been excluded from society and need to enhance their skills and talents.
