Our violence reduction program Abriendo Caminos: Communities Saving Lives was one of the winners of the award Recognition of Good Practices in Sustainable Development, an initiative of the Colombian Global Pact Network and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce. Based on the criteria of innovation, management and quality, impact, sustainability and relevance in each region, this initiative benchmarks the best practices in each of the objectives of sustainable development in the business and non-business sectors.
The Alvaralice Foundation won the award in the Non-Business Organizations category for its contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. This award encourages us to continue working to reduce the levels of violence and achieve peace and opportunities for all in the territories.
