The Opening Pathways (Abriendo Caminos) program participated for the first time in the Book Fair, thanks to an alliance with the Scarpetta Gnecco Foundation, which shared its stand for a day. A team of four social harmony mediators from the territories of Charco Azul, El Vallado and Mojica led a series of entertaining and educational activities adapted for students at the schools visiting the stand.
Dynamic activities, inspired in traditional games, became effective, clear tools to understand the concept of mediation and how it can contribute to peaceful resolution of diverse types of conflicts. This opportunity to participate in the Book Fair made Opening Pathways more visible in Cali and demonstrated its importance in an educational context.
