The Tecnocentro Cultural Somos Pacífico is celebrating the admission of three of its participants to the prestigious “Instituto Popular de Cultura” (IPC) to begin their professional training and develop their artistic skills in dance and music.
Through their cultural programs, Somos Pacífico seeks to support the youth of Potrero Grande, one of Cali´s poorest neighborhoods. Somos Pacífico will provide these students the opportunity to get involved in cultural and artistic learning activities in order for them to circumvert the violence and crime that characterizes their community.
