The first week of April, the Alvaralice Foundation welcomed Natalia Oviedo as its Executive Director. Natalia assumed the challenge of strengthening the foundation’s current programs and projects which aim to contribute to a more inclusive and peaceful Colombian society.
The main challenge of the Director will be to secure new alliances with organizations committed to improving the living conditions of the local communities. Furthermore, she will assure that the programs are aligned with the international scenario, the United Nation’s 2030 agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ms. Oviedo holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs, with a major in political and economic development from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University of New York City, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. She has more than 15 years of experience in the area of public, political and international affairs; including the management and development of projects focused on peacebuilding, economic, social and political development.
