During the visit, the Executive Director of the Alvaralice Foundation, Juan Camilo Cock, presented a report on the progress and achievements made thus far. In addition, the visitors had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact the program is having on the community and how it is being managed.  they were also able to talk with the young participants of the 2023 cohort, who expressed their motivation to be trained in both work and life skills.

Additionally, the EMpower representatives visited the facilities of Bivien, one of the companies associated with the program that is committed to social welfare and has provided labor opportunities to the young graduates of Rumbo Joven. The visitors from Empower were glad to have the opportunity to learn about the processes of the young people in the company and how the Rumbo Joven program has had such a positive impact on their life projects and job placement.

It was an added bonus to be able to visit Bivien, hear from an employer and, of course, the wonderful words of three Rumbo Joven participants. Their stories will stay with us for many years to come” Julie and Jeremy Llewelyn.

Bivien’s young employees highlighted the professional and personal impact that Rumbo Joven had on their lives, which has allowed them to increase their motivation, creativity and ability to interact with their environment, helping them to develop skills to face different situations in their life projects.
