Making the most of the Civic Award for a Better City prize they won last year, the Canalón School Foundation continues to improve the lives of families by educating children and young people from the Ciudad Córdoba neighborhood to promote community cohesion and peace-building through artistic and cultural spaces. Canalón won a prize of over $4,000 dollars which was invested in a new set of traditional instruments to continue teaching the music of the pacific coast of Colombia to new generations.
