Rumbo Joven, linking young people to their first formal job

Rumbo Joven is an employability program that has been operating in Cali now for seven years. The project guides, trains, and supports young people between the ages of 18 and 30 from neighborhoods with high levels of vulnerability, with the aim of developing life and job skills. Throughout its operation, the program has resulted in 60% of its graduates joining the formal labor market in the three months after completing their training processes.

With the support of the psychosocial and labor management team, the program is committed to the development of a work and life project. In addition, the participants interact with each other, promoting healthy cooperation, and carry out introspection exercises that allow them to reconcile with their communities and with themselves. This year the training is focused on the commune 21 of Cali and expects to train 150 young people.
