This year 450 children, youths and adults from the eastern region of Cali participated in the launching of activities of the Tecnocentro Cultural “Somos Pacífico” for the first semester of 2018.
The community will enjoy tuition free courses in musical and choral initiation, and instrument training such as percussion, winds and strings. The Tecnocentro will also offer dance courses (folkloric dance, salsa, street dance), information technology courses via the Computer ClubHouse program, and courses in plastic arts, visual arts and English.
Lastly, the community will have free access to the internet program, Punto Vive Digital, which provides the community with free access to computers and internet, access to the Public Library’s programs and the employability program for at-risk youth “Rumbo Joven” executed by the AlvarAlice Foundation, which is training their 8thcohort with great success.
