The Alvaralice Foundation and the Resilience Fund of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime have teamed up to strengthen community skills focused on reducing violence, mitigating the impact of crime, and generating opportunities for vulnerable youth in the neighborhoods of Charco Azul and the informal settlements of Comuneros I. With this partnership, the Resilience Fund will support the continuity and consolidation of the work carried out by the “Abriendo Caminos” project in these neighborhoods, which started in 2018. The Alvaralice Foundation will join the network of organizations that are part of the Resilience Fund, which is in charge of supporting initiatives from around the world to strengthen the community response to organized crime.
