The Alvaralice Foundation won a US $60,000 grant from the Interamerican Bank’s Multilateral Development Investment Fund, to implement the “Cure Violence” model in Cali.
The Youth on Course program was selected from among the fifteen best Inclusive employment programs for Colombia-s vulnerable population in a joint study by USAD, ACDI/VOCA, ANDI (National Association of Colombian Entrepreneurs), the ANDI Foundation and the Corona Foundation.
MarÃa Eugenia Garces Echavarria, president of the Alvaralice Foundation, was honored with the Medal of Merit by Cali’s Society of Public Improvements, for her outstanding performance in social development efforts for the City and the region, benefitting and strengthening low-income communities.
