[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Rumbo Joven<\/em> is a program that seeks to increase Cali\u2019s young, vulnerable population access to formal employment by providing training, guidance and support in their life plan in order to achieve employment in regional businesses.<\/p>\n

This program is supported by several organizations, including USAID<\/a>, ACDI \/ VOCA<\/a>, Tinker Foundation<\/a>, Limmat Stiftung<\/a>, EMpower<\/a>, Corona Foundation<\/a> and the Alvaralice Foundation<\/a>. In order to implement the program in several neighborhoods of Cali partnerships were created with the Tecnocentro Cultural Somos Pac\u00edfico, the San Buenaventura University, Comfandi<\/a> and the CreeSer<\/a>, SIDOC<\/a> and \u00a0WWB Colombia Foundation<\/a>s.<\/p>\n

On September 26th, Mr. Christopher Saenger, USAID’s Program Director, and representatives of ACDI\/VOCA\u2019s local team visited the Rumbo Joven<\/em> program which they\u00a0 have supported since 2017. They had the opportunity to listen to some of the participants’ testimonies, which reinforced the positive results of their training.<\/p>\n
