On November 18, at the main auditorium of the San Buenaventura University, the graduation ceremony was held for 98 youths from the 2021-2 cohort who completed their training process in our Rumbo Joven employability program.

About 45% of the participants who received their diplomas are already formally employment. The remainder of them are in the process of being hired or are expected to be hired in the coming months.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Juan Camilo Cock, director of the Alvaralice Foundation, María Isabel Ulloa, from “Compromiso Valle”, Carlos Adonai Mejía, coordinator of LIDS and PADS in Cali, Diana Marín and Gloria Mercedes Sánchez from San Buenaventura University. The guests recognized the work of the young people and highlighted the low dropout rate of the program.

It is worth noting that since the Program began in 2014 to date, more than 1,500 youths between the ages of 18 and 30 have graduated from this program, which contributes to the reduction of unemployment rates in our city.
