The Alvaralice Foundation and the Scarpetta Gnecco Foundation established a strategic alliance to introduce the Youth on Course (Rumbo Joven) employability program in four schools in Cali: José María Cabal, Carlos Holguín Mallarino (Niño Jesús de Atocha campus), Guillermo Valencia and Alfredo Vásquez Cobo. The alliance focuses on students in their final year, who receive training in work-related skills, which will assist them in joining the labor market and making their life plans reality.

The program includes essential aspects such as assertive communication and teamwork, among other topics key to working life. Orientation was provided on developing resumes, skills needed for employment interviews, and how to efficiently seek jobs, thereby helping students to face employment opportunities with better preparation and increased self-assurance.

On December 5, 52 program participants successfully completed their training and received their certifications, along with 130 other young people from Cali and Jamundí in a ceremony celebrated in the Fray Alberto Montealegre Auditorium at San Buenaventura University. This achievement not only represents a significant advancement in their work-related competencies, but also gives them greater belief in themselves as they take their first steps toward future employment. The alliance among the Alvaralice Foundation, Youth on Course and the Scarpetta Gnecco Foundation has provided students with the tools needed to build a successful working life aligned with their dreams.
