“Saberes Pacíficos” is a project with the objective preserving the history and the cultural practices of people who have migrated from the Pacific coast to Cali through different training processes in performing arts (music, dance and theater) and plastic arts. This project is offered to the elderly population who receive permanent psychosocial support as well as recreational and pedagogical activities to strengthen their life skills.
This project is possible thanks to the Arturo and Enrica Sesana Foundation (FAES), the Obeso Mejía Foundation, and the Alvaralice Foundation in alliance with the Tecnocentro Cultural Somos Pacífico. Its purpose is to improve the quality of life of the elderly who live in eastern Cali.
