The Laboratory for Community Ideation: from Words to Action (Laboratorio de Ideación Comunitaria: del Dicho al Hecho) has driven training of social leaders in the municipalities of Jamundà and Candelaria. By completing ten training modules, participants have had the opportunity to consolidate their ideas and transform them into concrete projects. The modules cover key topics such as project formulation, resource management, leadership, citizen participation, among others, providing leaders with the tools needed to successfully plan and execute their initiatives.
The variety of topics covered in the Laboratory allows each participant to develop a clearer and more focused perspective on their objectives, thanks to the skills acquired during training. By promoting collaboration and sharing experiences, an environment for innovation and collective learning is enhanced. This integrated focus empowers leaders, while strengthening the social fabric among their communities.
In addition, participants have the possibility of choosing mentors who work in their same area of action, to provide feedback on their ideas based on their personal experiences in their own regions. As a result, the participants feel more capable and motivated to carry out their proposals, generating a positive impact in their localities. Consolidating their ideas does not merely represent a personal achievement, but also a commitment to social development in Jamundà and Candelaria. With a clearer perspective and effective tools, the leaders are ready to make their community dreams reality.
