The Innovation and Leadership in Government “Immigration Crisis in Latin America: Pathways to Change” fifth meeting was held  in the Javeriana University of Cali on September 11th, and was organized by the ILG network.

The ILG Network is an initiative created in 2014 by students of the Innovation and Leadership in Government (ILG) program at Georgetown University, whose goal is to connect graduates of the “Latin America Leadership Program“. This network seeks to promote good governance and innovation in Latin America through events that strengthen innovative public policies.

In the afternoon, participants from various countries, including Panamá, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, México and Colombia, had the opportunity to visit the Somos Pacífico Tecnocentro to observe its artistic, cultural and technological activities.

The visitors included the former mayor of Cali, Rodrigo Guerrero Velasco, who spoke at the event, and is one of Somos Pacífico Tecnocentro’s biggest advocates. He was impressed by the positive reaction of the visitors to Somos Pacífico for its programs and innovative model.
